I know everyone can still remember the band “Rivermaya” which is so famous during the 90’s and until now their songs are being listened and sang by the new generation.
But, you wouldn’t believe that the former lead vocalist of Rivermaya tries his luck in The Voice Philippines Season 2. He also meets there coach Bamboo who was also apart of the same band before.
He is Jason Fernandez, 25 years old, during the blind audition of the Voice Ph he performed the iconic song entitled “Huling El Bimbo” which was composed by Ely Buendia from the band of Eraserheads.
Everybody in the studio were trying to convince the judges to press their red buttons and it was not until the song was about to end that coach Apl de ap pressed the button and turned his red chair for him. It was like a buzzer beater, fortunately his song was enough to make coach Apl impressed.
